THE MILLENNIAL LARCH!!

Immersed in the Cordillera de la Costa in the commune of La Union and within the National Park Alerce Costero, is the oldest tree in Chile and South America, the Millennial Larch 3,500 years old and whose trunk has 4, 26 m in diameter and 11 m in height. DIENTES DE NAVARINO!!

The Dientes de Navarino (or ‘Navarino Teeth’), located on Navarino Island, are peaks which get their get name from the jaw full of teeth which they resemble. Although perhaps one of the less well known places for trekking, there are many hikes available to see the teeth and you don’t require a permit to visit them. Quitralco is a fjord in Chile’s XI Region of Aysén. The fjord is a glacial basin surrounded by mountains. Due to the dense vegetation, the area has hardly been explored. AINSWORTH BAY!!

A beautiful isolated bay in the Almirantazgo Sound, Ainsworth Bay is found along the fjords of the Chilean coast and can be visited on board an adventure cruise. At Ainsworth Bay, you can see the retreating Marinelli Glacier and watch elephant seals on the beaches. This is a difficult place to reach by any means other than by boat, and it is one of the most pristine and secluded spots to visit in this part of Chilean Patagonia.
